Entrepreneurs are self-motivated challengers to take positions and build up their businesses, often to fill unfulfilled needs. They dedicate much of their efforts towards their dreams, whilst the best also recognises their limitations. Risk-taking is smart rather than reckless. In this sharing session, the discussion intends to highlight some of the key factors that would make entrepreneurs’ journey more robust, sustainable, and less prone to major disruptions.
About the Speaker:
Cyril Lam, Fee-based Independent Financial Adviser
Cyril joined Pyrmont Wealth Management at the start of the year as a fee-based financial planner, developing upon his recognition that the existing local system of financial service client advisory is ripe for disruption, as already seen already in a number of other jurisdictions. Trained as an engineer and business analyst by multinational corporates, his personal experience has been further enriched in the past five years as an independent financial advisor, itself an entrepreneurial profession.
